Rehearsals each Sunday 4:30 to 6:00 PM – Choir for 7th thru 12th grades

God’s Light is a welcoming, energetic, and fun group that witnesses Jesus’ love to others through the gift of song. The youth in God’s Light also learn Scripture and Biblical truths through the music they sing for development of their day-to-day spiritual and relational development.

God’s Light serves the third Sunday of each month in morning worship. Each December on the first Sunday, they present a holiday time of worship through song. Each June, God’s Light embarks on a seven- to ten-day tour of the U.S. to spread God’s message throughout the land. Fundraisers are held throughout each year in support of Summer Choir Tour. Each year’s tour concludes with a Homecoming Dinner and Concert at SFUMC. In June 2007, the choir is planning to travel to the Grand Canyon area.

You do not have to be a great singer to join God’s Light! You only have to have the desire and the will to serve in this music ministry. Attendance is expected at weekly rehearsals, during each 3rd Sunday worship performance, at the Homecoming Concert, the Christmas cantata, and for all fundraising activities.
